Neocrisis: The Brave becomes a traveler, but is the Travel worth your time?

"Brave Story: New Traveler is easily one of the prettiest games on the PSP. That alone would be reason to take a chance on it, but it also happens to be a well thought out take on the fantasy RPG cliche. Interesting characters, smooth battle sequences and a rich story make it one of the PSP's most-own RPGs."
Gamers Universe writes: "For a fleeting ten minutes I thought Brave Story: New Traveler was more than the mere capable retelling of an old tale it would eventually prove to be. I was introduced to the protagonist, Tatsuya, in all his soft-focus dimpled glory. Then came the provocative development: Tatsuya too busy playing his PSP to attend to the needs of his girlfriend, the lovely Miki. The crunch: Miki mysteriously hospitalised while Tatsuya, oblivious, tries for that elusive high score. Moral of the story evident. Mortification the order of the day. Daily Mail rage-o-meter rising. What to ensue?"
With a slew of strategical and real-time based RPG's hitting the market, Brave Story takes its place as one of the rare new turn-based must have RPGs. With an excellent story and great gameplay, Brave Story has definitely managed to create a world you can attach yourself to.
It's really funny how every PSP game that gamespot gives a lackluster rating to the user ratings for are usually 1.5-2.5 points higher. Why is it that the games are obviously more enjoyable than given credit for by this one review site? Hmm.
Isn't this a few years late?
