Author Joshua Moris at Capsule Computers writes:
"Wings of Liberty was only the beginning for StarCraft II, and now we can see the internal seed blossom with Sarah Kerrigan in Heart of the Swarm. The greatest experience of this title had to be a well driven story that can earnestly be felt by its onlookers. Containing a vast amount of emotions that have been festering since StarCraft’s original release in 1998, Heart the Swarm places you in its treacherous bowels only to emerge with new understanding of its developing characters. Sarah Kerrigan said it best herself, “I did what I had to…” And I’m here to tell you that Sarah did it very well."
VGChartz's Taneli Palola: "I recently completed an article series about the history of real-time strategy, and going through so many different games that have shaped the face of the genre over the last 30 years got me thinking. Which real-time strategy titles are the ones that have had the greatest influence on the genre's development throughout its history? What you're reading now is my answer to that particular question."
DSOGaming writes: "The World Championship Series for StarCraft 2 has just ended and for the first time ever, the world champion in this strategy game is not a Korean player. The best StarCraft 2 players for 2018 is the Finnish player Serral."
Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "It’s Valentine’s Day, and that means a lot of chocolate, roses and tender moments with those we love the most. And while love might be one of the most powerful emotions of all it’s not exclusive to the realm of us ‘living’ beings as video game characters have proven time and time again that love transcends all dimensions, even virtual ones. So for this very romantic edition of Knights of the Round Cable we are taking a look at our favorite video game couples, the ones that reminds us that love exists in all forms, whether it be pixels or polygons."
Looks like I have to reinstall starcraft and be terrible at it again.
Great review, I love starcraft but wasnt sure of this, im sold now
It would have been great if this didn't require Wings of Liberty to play, especially considering the original Star Craft had all three campaigns in the one package.
