im starting to get very excited. far east location, land, air and water combat. and now hopefully these new screens hint at an African american male lead and a Asian, possibly Asian american female lead. it would be nice if a game like battlefield branches out from the typical white male marine archetype that is so played out these days. very cool stuff.

Lead should be universal like Mass Effect. You should be able to shape the lead character your way. Male/Female and whatever race you want.

Either way the game should work out alright. I care nothing for SP side anyway. Multiplayer should be bad ass. Dice does know how to make SP take about 10 hours though unlike Danger Close.

So, that explains why blue and orange suddenly looks more black and yellow...

Looks like we may be getting female character models too. I can see it now...

This is bad in bf games

What is bad? Female characters? Please don't be one of those idiots. It's bad enough when idiots like u give flame to feminists who keep coming on n4g to whine and complain about inequality. Let us all just be respectful to all races and genders, that way nobody has to beg for an "equality" hand-out.

I wonder if there's gonna be female soldiers in Multiplayer, just imagine running behind one staring at her ass as you walk from flag A to B xD

lol this is why we can't have nice things

I can't help but be a little concerned that this might be an attempt to develop hype for a single player story. Let's face it, DICE is not good at single player campaigns so this could go either way. If they get everyone hyped up for a good campaign that turns out to be 4 hours long and as pathetic as BF3's campaign was I'll be a bit upset.

Still Battlefield is 99% multiplayer so it won't be any more of an issue than with BF3, but I'd rather they concentrate on the multiplayer rather than fail miserably with single player again. Just my .02

actually Bad company 1 and 2 had great campaigns . They just need to stop channeling "their inner COD" .

Especially when even when you propose a similar in quality campaign , people will still criticize you . Dice just need to do its thing

In my humble opinion, I found Bad Company's 1 & 2 campaign to be quite underwhelming (aside from some comedic relief). Just cause it was better than BF3 isnt really saying much.

I wouldn't say the Bad Company game's campaigns were really that much better... But they had a much nicer cast of characters who were far more likable, so that definitely contributed to a more bearable single-player experience.
