I would imagine it's because with the first season coming to the Vita, it's very likely that the second will come out on it as well.

My Vita was lost recently, but I'll definitely be picking this up when I get a new one.

Lee wakes up in season 2. It seems he is immune and somebody nursed him to health. Good thing I didn't cut off my arm.
