What happens when you take Greek mythology, mix it up with a lone spartan warrior and add in a pinch of all out brutal warfare? You get the God of War series, one of the best series to come out exclusively for the Playstation. The games have all been a great sight to behold but the newest addition to the series, God of War Ascension, promises something old with something new. Does Ascension truly bring back the classic bloody battles or does it make the God of War series look like a child's play thing? Let's have a look and find out. 7/10

That is so dumb. The gameplay is way better than GoW3. The ability of doing combos with the blades and then with fist feels so satisfying. That is not in any God of War. Also the mini gameplay when trying to kill an enemy and avoiding their attacks while trying to kill them is not seen in a God of War before ascension. Using enemy weapons and combining combos with the blades and the enemy weapons is not the same as all the GoW.
It doesn't look identical to GoW3. But hell how much more can it improve from GoW3? This game looks amazing and giving it a 7 on graphics is plain retarded.
The game is not a 10/10 but its not a game below 8. The story is not complicated it tells you why you are doing it. it may not be as good as the previous games but its an OK story.
