You’ve enjoyed free movies and TV shows on your Crackle app on the PlayStation3 and now there’s another way to find them. Introducing Crackle in the PlayStation Store! (PS Vita, PS3, Sony, Sony Entertainment Network)

So its an app inside an app when you can already access the app outside of the second app?

Actually looked for the stupid thing in the store, which on the whole in comparison to the old store I'm not fond of, waited through an update, and saw sign none of.
ftwrthtx  +   836d ago
I definitely prefer the old store. Was much easier and faster to navigate and to find things.

Uh oh, looks like Sony is abandoning the core gamer! /s

Are you trying to troll? If not, well...*facepalm*

PS3 gamers like to have addition ways of using their machine. I personally like to use these apps to have some downtime in between gaming.

Having these options available only improves the experience and Sony is not abandoning the core gamer by making a few apps every couple of months. We have The Last of Us, Puppeteer, and Beyond: Two Souls to look forward to!

cool, now I can watch comedians in cars getting coffee through my PS3

"With the convenience of Crackle now directly inside the PlayStation Store, you’ll be able to discover more movies, TV shows, and exclusive original series all for free."

I assume there is alot of ads?
madpuppy  +   835d ago
There are ads, but not really a lot, what you get for what you have to tolerate is tilted highly in your favour. They have everything from full series network tv shows and full length unedited movies to their own produced shows and feature films...that aren't that bad either.

for free, it is still worth checking out.
illtornworld  +   835d ago
It is anapp inside a app! thanks @Godmars290 i lol'd at it. i cant find the zero eitherrr. i even divided :-/ but anywho its still cool. Any news on crackle on Vita ;)

Meh I have literally watched everything of interest to me on Crackle sadly, even all the newer shows. That is what sucks about watching TV on the internet.. Sometimes you can sit through a whole season on your off days..

Cable really sucks though, I can't imagine why people pay so much money just to mainly watch commercials that are as long as their shows and watch nothing but re-runs all the time..

I have watched so much crap on the net, I can never find anything to watch anymore because of it. Not a bad thing but probably not a good thing either.
