It was one of the great NES games, but do kids today even know about Duck Tales, or are they expecting a bunch of us older people to buy the game?

Has the NES generation of gamers ever really stopped gaming?
Romudeth  +   578d ago
Yes!!! Dude this is easily the coolest thing I've heard all week. I'm so amped!!! I fucking love this game!

I am surprised by how many of you are pumped for this. "Duck Tales"? Sounds like a kids game to me.
DwightOwen  +   577d ago
That's because most Wii U owners are parents now who played the shit out of the original for the NES as kids themselves back in the late 80s.

I'm sorry you can't appreciate a game without tits and ass.

@Dwight
I didn't mean it like that. I play rayman origins and other kiddy games all the time. I am surprised by this particular one. Its based on a silly cartoon from who knows what decade. Even worse its a Disney cartoon. Thats not too say I think the game is bad or anything, I never played it. But it sounds like it would totally suck based on it's origins. Again I'm not trying to bash the game.

Loved it on NES... day one!
topgun33  +   578d ago
Sweet. If does does well they can release the other disney based cartoon games that were also on NES: Darkwing Duck and Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers
Veni Vidi Vici  +   578d ago
Now if they could only bring back the original cartoon as well.
wingman32x  +   578d ago
Wow. Never thought I'd see the day considering how complex the licensing situation for the game was.

I'll definitely be buying this. One of the best games I've ever played. It proved that licensed games could be legit, too.

oh yes <3!

Better not have DLC

Better have the original OST no remixes like Ubisoft did with TMNT remake.

They can remaster a game that everyone forgot about but they cant for the life of them clean the gotdam corn out their ears, when someone asks them for a new Mega Man? Bang up job with MM's anniversary, slapping your name on a fan made game and all.

Psp owners have asked for imports of MHP3rd and you tell them to fuq off, Vita owners were expecting a new MH and you tell them to fuq off again and sell exclusivity to Nintendo, but i bet you expect everyone to snag up the 1000 Street Fighter games you're gonna release this year. Not even gonna talk about RE games.

Capcom dont fuqqin listen! They just ram what they think we should have down our throats and most gamers take it like medicine. Oh well, good luck marketing it to ppl now days who dont even know what Ducktales is...

Been boycotting Capcom since SFIV and i stand by it. Not one cent will ever trade from my pocket to yours until u get your act together!

*RANT OVER*

JohnApocalypse  +   578d ago
So is this a new game or a remake of the NES game?
Jobesy  +   578d ago
It looks to be a little of both if that makes sense. Look up "DuckTales PS3" on Youtube and you'll see the trailer, it looks awesome, day one if the price is right. Ahh nostalgia, you just made my day!
Ben_Rage_3  +   578d ago
I am very excited for this.
topgun33  +   578d ago
how much you think it will run for?
Subzero200  +   578d ago
why do the 3d environments look so cheap.
Qrphe  +   577d ago
They're appealing to newer audiences, even if the field of depth actually takes away from the 2D platforming.
profgerbik  +   578d ago
Scrooge McDuck for free and his grandnephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie are paid DLC.
