The Xbox 360, Wii and PS3 generation has produced some great games, but not all of them got the attention they deserve. Hidden Gems is a (hopefully) multi-episode series dedicated to highlighting some of the lesser known quality games of this generation. Please enjoy.

It's certainly a great game that many people simply didn't get the chance to play.

Why is there a buldge there?

Myst1890d ago

There is a reason for that.

Ser1890d ago

Play Nier and find out. :)

o.o you right it doesn't matter she was born a woman ^^ i til smash

Sonyslave31890d ago

She was born 100% woman a demon modified here now she have a penis a vagina

DanielRCampbell1890d ago

She was actually a hermaphrodite before the possession. The game hints at this with little comments from NPCs when she was a little girl saying things like "You're not a real girl, and stuff like that."

Is that actually official art? You don't actually see a bulge in Nier do you?

Also I imagine El Shaddai will be featured on this at some point. Playing it right now. Great music and trippy visuals.

Ser1890d ago (Edited 1890d ago )

There's a real reason why she has the bulge...I'm not kidding.

-Gespenst-1890d ago

Oh I know all about it. But you don't actually see the bulge in the game do you? That'd be pretty ballsy of Square Enix... (or dick-sy)

Ser1890d ago

I wanna say "no". However, it's been a while since I've played.

@ -Gespenst-

Should have just stuck with the "ballsy" pun. It was subtle and would have went over most people's heads, but the "dick-sy" bit was too overt, taking away from the element of humor.

Everyone should REALLY try Yakuza.

guitarded771890d ago

Maybe not everyone. I think Yakuza players have to have some appreciation for Japanese culture and video games. Sleeping Dogs has mass appeal, but Yakuza is like a fine wine... it takes a connoisseur to appreciate it. Real core/well rounded gamers will love it, but the general population won't get it.
