GS:Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon has no shortage of charm, but difficulty spikes and a lack of checkpoints weigh heavily on the experience.
(3DS, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon)
6.5/10
Giving MOnster HUnter 3 Ult the same score on 3Ds and Wii.U
If it were a PS3 and vita game, the vita would've gotten less because of downgrade in graphcis or stuff on screen.....the knit pick the Vita like crazy.
So yeah... There is plenty of bias all around.
Anyways have this pre ordered and paid for, gonna receive it Monday from BB.
ANy1 know if it is compatible with slider pad pro?
Oh stop crying. This isn't detriment to your enjoyment of the game. People have opinions, get over it. I'm still hyped, and I'll judge whether it's a 6.5/10 on my own
Ign gave it a 9.3 which seems weird to me. Ign is always hard on games that arent first person shooters. Usually gamespot is better on games. Game looks awesome though!
Darn! 9.3! If you said 9.8, I would have immediately knew that was Audrey Drake overrating another Nintendo game!!
"Ign is always hard on games that arent first person shooters. Usually gamespot is better on games." Not always true. IGN does not only have one reviewer, but a bunch of reviewers. Gamespot... I'm gonna contradict myself, and say Gamespot suck. I don't think they're strict, but that they sometimes purposely give certain games a really high score, or a really low score, just to get hits... Same as Eurogamer, Destructoid, IGN, and basically every other gaming sites.
Well, dont they all pretty much do that? With getting hits and all. I mean look at the new Bioshock, ign seems to give shooters great scores all the time. Personally, i am so burnt out on shooters, i rather see a game like this get some praise for a change. Starting to miss the days of walking into an arcade as a kid in the 80s. All these games today seem the same, what number Halo we on now, 6?
Idk, wouldn't someone desperate for attention give the game either a really low or really high score... Not "fair"? Or is "fair" considered such an insult there must be an alterior motive these days?
Noticing how other reviewers are giving this game higher scores (IGN a 9.3; Destructiod a 9.5/10, Gamingtruth a 9/10), and also the fact that it currently has an 85/100 from Metacritic, it's clear that Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon is more than just a 6.5 or better yet a "fair" game. Let's look at another Gamespot reviewed game called The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword. SS received a 7.5 "good" score while other reviewers as well as worldwide players highly praised that it was a terrific game, and clearly it was more than just "good". As far as I'm concerned, Gamespot is probably reviewing games in a harsher tone against popular franchises so they can obtained some attention. But my question is whther they want attention for a "fair" reason or for a more derogatory reason.
I just finished 40 hours+ of virtue last escape, and my 3DS needs more game. So i don't care about the score cause i will get this and Mirror's of Fate.
I mean look at IGN, it clearly loves Nintendo:)

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 - 8.6
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate - 8.8
Etrian Odyssey 4 - 9.0
Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm - 8.6
This is over the span of 3/4 months. Your point about IGN being hard on a game that is not an FPS has been disproven.

Game is hard: Too hard! Snif, snif.
