Once Again, Even More Japanese Developers Weigh In on the PS4

Kotaku - Continuing with their series on the PS4, this week, Japanese gaming magazine Weekly Famitsu published the second half of their two-part developer interview, with several more Japanese developers sharing their thoughts on Sony's new console.

Once again, the standard 3 questions were posed: (PS4)

That Positive Reception.

Less talk. More games.

Too many instances or devs talking up hardware only to not make anything for it. Or worse.

NOTHING but praise for the PS4. From eastern and western devs alike... Ok.. I'm afraid that the world might explode from epicness when it hits shelves cuz this is gonna be BIG.

Don't think any console has received this kind of reception before.

Seeing what devs were able to pull of on the ps3 was amazing despite the hard learning process. With the ps4 being more dev friendly & not really limited as the ps3's ram I think its a big reason why devs are really happy. If anyone has ever played DC Universe Online. That MMO had alot of potential despite the lag u got in the game at certain times alot of ppl loved it so much including myself. This game continues to be enjoyed today despite lag issues because as I said, its tons of fun & addicting. Met couple WOW players on there who said the pvp on DC Universe Online was funner on the ps3 then pc because ps3 gamers were actually badazz at pvp. I really wished this game would be remade for the ps4 or atleast a new one. It would be so much smoother.

If it were a Marvel MMO instead of DC then even i might be interested.

I totally agree but look at it this way. Im not really a fan of dc heroes well maybe superman but i didnt buy dc universe because im a die hard fan of dc heroes. I was one of the many ppl who got to try out the beta and it was my 1st MMO i ever played but I was so hooked when the beta was over I was dying for a release of this game. After it finally came out I bought it & I played it for like a year & 3 months. I made so many new friends who i still talk to today that im hoping for a sequel on the ps4 or atleast make its way there. Id play it again lol.

They care more about the share button than the 8GB of ram. The share button doesn't create games, 8GB of ram does.
