Peer Schneider, the co-founder of IGN, has issued a statement in regards to the “IGN predicting Battlefield 4 to be game of the year” article that was found in the source code of the official website for the first-person shooter.
Is anyone surprised that IGN opinion can very easily influenced by without any real justification. The were 360 fanboys for years, only now have they changed their tune towards equal regard towards the consoles. Also awarded MW2 death perks as the most innovative gameplay feature of the year.
Well it is an American website and so is Microsoft an American company. Things like review copies, free consoles, gifts, special editions...etc this is a lot easier to get to American journalists when you speak their language. (Yes, I am implying Microsoft bought their way into this gen and out of the RROD epidemic)
Stop trolling@ If only you could have no bubbles!
Did you even read the explanation? That isn't their opinion, they haven't even seen it yet. It was just some site designer that put it in as "wishful thinking".
Anyone even consider that BF4 might just be so awesome you don't even have to play it to know it's the best damn thing since you discovered you don't need a woman to have an orgasm.
if anything, they are the worst CoD fanboy site around.. whenever possible, they plastered something to do with CoD all over the freakin page.....
but from the forum, he kept the mood light with this comment, "We hugged it out, suggested they use loremipsum instead, they sent us a bunch of money, and we changed all our review scores for EA games to a 10 -- because that's how games media works.
so it's safe to say that any review score given toward BF4 will be fair.
