It’s All About Hugs: Why Telltales Walking Dead is so Much Better than Terminal Reality’s

"With that in mind, I started to wonder what was so great about Telltales storytelling. What made it so good?

For me, it’s a tiny little moment. In the very first episode, when Hershel’s son returns to the farm he hugs his father. His father doesn’t return the hug at first, and seems a little embarrassed at his sons affection. It feels awkward. It feels real.", says CalmDownTom. (Culture, iPad, iPhone, PC, PS3, The Walking Dead: Episode 1 "A New Day", The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, Xbox 360)

Anyone with half a brain already knows why Telltale's game is 10000000x better.

i don't want to be a dick but don't forget that telltales games also had a lot of hit and miss games in the past... we shouldn't hype the hell out of the game it only brings disappointing and bitching... it spreads like wild fire and we seen how that goes in the past: Aliens: Colonial Marines or SWTOR (though i would think SWTOR is awesome in my book)

oh yea we cant forget Duke Nukem Forever

if you hype something up it turn a disappointment and people bitch then spreads around like a fire in the forest..

did you not see how star wars the old republic was people hype that game out so much they bitch when it came out.... ( but i think the game is awesome) and when people bitch it spreads

Yeah but what has that to do with Telltale? They had nothing to do with the new walking dead game. That was activision with their stupid, hairtrigger, American-idiot-shoots-zombies style of retarded western appeal gameplay.

TOo bad they did a pretty good job on Ghost busters.

Thats what makes me confused. Im guessing Activision fucked them over on this one.

Most likely they pressured the launch, I'm assuming at least...because I mean it was a pretty quick reveal and then a almost immediate launch after gameplay trailers.

Anyways, this game looks like it's a fun iOs, PSn/360/eshop 10$, or Vita/3Ds game...nothing more
