Dead or Alive 5 Plus (PS Vita) Review - JPS

'Following in the footsteps of Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus, Team Ninja decided to also release Dead or Alive 5 for the PlayStation Vita. With a few Vita specific features and cross play support, it sounds like a must have for Vita owners. While this sounds good on paper, can Dead or Alive 5 Plus match the console version or is it a sloppy port to make a quick buck?' - JPS (Dead or Alive 5 Plus, PS Vita, PS3) 8.4/10

I am loving that Team Ninja is showing the Vita some real support,. Hopefully more companies will follow suit now that sales are slightly better in Japan.

Slightly better ? Do some research. Try quadruple . The Vita is killing the 3DS in Japan with no signs of letting up. In fact most Japanese developers are jumping ship from the sinking 3DS and are now working on games for the Vita.

I've seen plenty of unreliable figures and vague claims, so I kept the remark modest over making it seem like the price drop made it impossible to avoid.

Erm, it's hardly, 'killing', the 3DS.

It did have 2 very good weeks, with the price cut. Last week it dropped off somewhat, but still doing much better than before.

The demo is fantastic, it allows quite a bit of play which is really nice. I'll definitely pick it up sometime soon here. The touch fighting feels so wrong, yet so right.

Demo is not even available for me to download here in New Zealand. Still, I can always play the game on Xbox 360.
