Need for Speed Most Wanted U Review | Game Over Online

Game Over Online: "While the controls are technically inferior to the 360 and PS3 version due to the lack of analog buttons on any Wii U control method, they still work really well and don’t make the game hard to control – it just takes some time to get used to controlling a modern racer with purely digital buttons. Otherwise, the addition of all of the Gamepad features and the ultimate speed DLC pack on-disc at no charge, along with no online pass being needed (another nice trend for the system), helps make this a better pickup than its other console versions. While PC owners with a powerful enough rig to run it well might want to stick with that version, if you’ve got a console and loved Most Wanted, be sure to pick this up at some point. If you’ve never played it but wanted to, pick it up sooner, while those with other versions will probably want to wait for a price drop – especially since it appears unlikely that the newer DLC packs will be made available for this version."

So many throws to other versions of the game. I'm tired of seeing this. Can we have a Wii U game review, and stick to focusing on the Wii U?

It's fair to compare it to the other versions, especially if it is a late port of a game from another platform. Darksiders II suffers from some performance issues on Wii U that are not present on the PS3/360 versions, so that's a fair comparison to make.

If you want the Wii U to play many multiplatform games that will be available on the PS4 and the 720 you will just have to get used to the comparisons. Especially the ones from digital foundary and lens of truth.

Just be happy that criterion made an effort to bring a decent port to the Wii U instead of a sloppy one like Activision with Call of Duty.

Now its up to Wii U owners to support Criterion by buying their game or else risk proving EA right on their assumption that Nintendo fans only buy Nintendo games.

I'm glad some other commenter on N4G let me know that this was half off on origin-- I probably wouldn't have picked it up at all, but I can't say no to a 50% discount at launch for a great game.

Here's a link for those interested (their other Wii U games are also half off, probably not worth the money though)

What I want to know is if you can put all the information that's on the screen on the gamepads screen like the mph, rev, map, position, etc leaving the tv screen with no information .

Waiting on a Xbox 360/PS3/Wii U comparison video

I think the developers already showed the difference in a couple of interviews.
