This ‘Mass Effect 3′ fan-made Trailer is BEYOND Awesome

However you feel about the ending of the ‘Mass Effect’ trilogy, there’s no denying that following Shepard across all those adventures, along with the Normandy crew, is one of the best experiences video games have to offer, and one particular trailer captures it all. (Mass Effect 3, PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360)

I tried to get into Mass Effect. Based on all the accolades, I bought the trilogy even though the ME2 demo left me cold. The story kept me going through ME1 even though the shooting gameplay was pretty bland, but I traded the trilogy in before finishing ME2 because I completely lost interest.

Mass Effect was my favorite new franchise this generation.

I played it so many times, getting every possible variation.

When i started playing Mass Effect 3 i loved every single minute of it. I thought it was the best game id ever played. Then i reached got to the final few minutes of the game.

It was so bad i didnt touch ME for a year. But the Citadel DLC is so good its almost won me back

Very well done. I romanced Ash so this was especially nice to watch.

Too bad in Mass Effect 1 the firs thing Shep does is wake up to start his mission on Eden Prime sort of a "Dream," Of what's to come, you know?

I haven't played any games of the Mass Effect series, am I going to miss a lot of the story If I play only the third? Or I'll be able to understand it perfectly(or almost)?

Not really too hard to understand. It's pretty straight forward sci-fi game fare. There's a lot of relationships between the characters, and some of the most memorable moments of the 3rd game are because the devs made you care so much about them in the previous two, but other than that it's just trying to save the world from a malevolent invading army.

In some ways the conclusion doesn't even really match up with the rest of the series, which is one reason it had so much controversy around it.

I'd recommend picking up the trilogy version if you are looking to get into it. It's well worth it. One of the better game series this gen, even with ME3 not being as good, it was still a good game overall.
