Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time Review | GodisaGeek

GodisaGeek: "Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is Sly Cooper back on top form and finally on the PlayStation 3. It’s been a long time coming but what we’re presented with at the end of it is a game that’s polished, well-made and brimming with extra features that will keep the completionist in us all coming back for more and more. This might very well be the best game currently on the market to showcase the cross-play feature of the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita too, as it takes what could have been a complicated feature and simplifies it down to a level that anyone can use with relative ease; not to mention that you can play a Sly Cooper game while you’re out and about. You can’t do that with any other game so far, so that’s really got to count for something. If you haven’t played a Sly Cooper game before, this is the perfect jump-in point, fresh-looking and fun. What more could you ask for?" (PS Vita, PS3, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time) 9/10

This game is just awesome. Funny to play (but not too hard tbh), funny to watch and with a lot of variety in the gameplay. Art direction and voice actor are excellent.

Just like all the other Sly Coopers.

agreed. It has the unique likability of a Saturday morning cartoon.
Great series.

I Love Sly games!!!
It will only be available next week in Europe! I still havent finished Ni no Kuni and just received God of War..

Does anyone know where i can buy time to play all this?
GodisaGeek  +   490d ago
God of War isn't that long, but the multi will take your time up! Sly is quite long actually, but the vita play means you can play it on the go :-)

i like to enjoy my games and not finish them as soon as i can, but for sure the cross play is really a good thing.

Question: how can i use the same save for PS3 and Vita?

Its impossible.
You will loose some sleep over the next few weeks.

Thieves in Time can be enjoyed in chunks. Each chapter can be knocked out in a setting or two without you felling forced to continue.

Here is what I did.
1 complete Ni No Kuni (not sure if you are going for the plat ).

2 Once you start GOWA it will be hard to put down...so start with Sly and get a couple of hours in to get a gest of the story.

3 Start GOWA and toggle back and forth according to who is watching you game (children, mother in law, wife ~)

Lastly the vita comes in nicely when wanting to get in an extra 30 minutes right before bed or in on the go moments.

But really. .. it's darn near impossible. Have fun.

Forgive the typos , I sent this from my phone.

I love this comment. Number 3 is the best part.

I hope Europe sales will be higher than America's one. I dont want this to be Sly's last outing on the HD front.

My girlfriends daughter is 7. She loves this game so much. She makes me watch her play it all the time. This game should have been advertised better. It's as good as a Mario game if not better

Sly has always been. It some of the most creative and impressive platforming out there.... for a long time now.

@abzdine - Yes, it's totally cross platform in that respect.
