GameDwellers observes the culture of buying games at retail and what it will take to get those people to buy digital.
The download speeds on the Wii U are abysmal, and it's worth the extra cost and trouble just to buy a retail version. If they can resolves some of these issues, and bring the download price below a retail copy, then I might be pursuaded to switch an all digital collection. The author makes some very strog points in this article and it's definitely something everyone should read.
I assume you meant for full retail downloads? I'm sure they will reduce download times with the April update. That said, it took about fifteen minutes for me to download Sonic All-Stars Racing and another fifteen to install. Pretty slow, I will admit but hardly abysmal.
AAAWWW yea, I've been wanting to discuss this type of topic for awhile. First thang, clutter is not a pretty thang to look at especially if ya have very limited space, family, animals etc. Dayum I get tired of hearing "just check out my beautiful collection" on some display self or whatever your talkin about. Really so what happens with that hundered somethin odd game collection? Not everybody has a room of doom. Next, yea it saves gas, time, & money, sort of lol. At least for me, digital isn't so bad since most people utilize MP3s of some kind
"I also cannot stand that my digitally downloaded games aren’t sitting on my shelf." I know that feel, bro.
Alrite!! Finally someone understands what I'm sayin, lol
