Hands down this generation had some of the best games in several generations. Looking back, gamers will talk about RROD, YLOD, PS+, Xbox Live, the Wii and motion controls, Kinect, and the games that made this generation. Games such as the Halo series, the Uncharted series, Dishonored, Skyrim, Mario Galaxy, Skyward Sword and the list goes on and on. But what about those non-AAA games like Wet, Spec Ops The Line, Bulletstorm, El Shaddai, Mirror's Edge and so many more. If gamers can look past the reviews, there might be something there worth playing here.

Still have my ps3 copies. Bought it at launch and another one when I found it cheap and in perfect condition about 10 years ago. I wouldn’t buy it on Switch but if they made a PS5 version I would. I still have one of my PS3 Fats hooked up so good to go either way.
Id play it again on the switch. I wished my 360 version was bc but this is still a good way to play.

Honorable mention to the excellent Driveclub, one of the best racing games of all-time and one of my favourite games ever.

I really wanted a MotorStorm using the same engine, Driveclub is easily one of the best looking games on PS4 and I'm surprised they didn't even give it a PS4 Pro patch.
I adored Driveclub and the Bike expansion. I also loved Motorstorm. Evolution shutting down was a crime
Outrun Online Arcade, Sega Rally Online Arcade, After Burner Climax... all good stuff. I keep my 360 hooked up to play these as well as the TMNT games that were also delisted.

Some of those games named in the article were pretty bland to be honest.
For me, I felt the following games to be overlooked:
Singularity (Lets get through the fact that the online is terrible, but really though. The campaign was a ton of fun! It was suspenseful and had great storytelling like bioshock)
Resistance 3 (For those who want an FPS that is different from the norm, this game was made for you)
