"If you’re into retro style space shooters along the vein of Galaga and Galaxian, you’re in for a treat. Plasma Sky, by Spikepit Games (the owner and primary developer is also a developer at Runic Games and has worked on Torchlight and Torchlight 2), combines wireframe art with modern visual effects to achieve a look that fits nicely between old school convention and modern eye candy. Underneath the visuals lay pseudo-hardcore gameplay mechanics that should appeal to both casual and hardcore shooter fans alike.
