I was able to talk amazon into price matching after I found out about this. It took about 40 minutes, but it was worth it.

Or get ir for free, if you buy SimCity :p

looks like us UK wii u owners are being ripped off by the americans! on the EA official sites this game is £45 which in your money is $72!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You lot over there think the wii u and games are over priced well the reason the wii u is struggling here is due to the fact the games in your currency are up to $80 each! the console can now be had for $400 dollers which is reduced.

So now you know why games sales and consoles on not just the wii u but ps3 and xbox have fallen through the floor!

Why do we get screwed for the price when you are being offered it for nearly half the price?? beggers belief..

Yep. I heard about the game being discounted on Origin last night but when I checked it was £45. It wouldn't affect me as I've already ordered the game but it would have made it easier to talk my other Wii U owning friends (not imaginary ones either!) into trying it out.

Origin has a great sale going on now. I usually buy from Steam however I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get the Dragon Age Ultimate Edition for $9

origin has actually had some decent deals every now and then, deals that I would very much like to take advantage of, however EA still refuses to acknowledge that Central/South America are NOT Spain. And i refuse to pay those inflated European prices

Nobody is bringing up how dirty this is? They intentionally release the game for twice the cost every other version right now, then drop the price only on Origin, thus shortchanging retailers and eshop purchases, so they can get some attention payed to origin and all of the profits for themselves.

EA has to be the most crooked gaming company on Earth.
