Square Enix has released today three all-new multiplayer maps for the critically-acclaimed ‘Tomb Raider’ in the ‘Caves and Cliffs’ multiplayer map pack, coming first, exclusively to Xbox 360 players.
Ohh it's just map maps. Never mind than. This game is awesome but it's mp is terrible. It's forced on and very borring.
I actually like the mp side.
Very tacked on... I wish time spent on mp would have gone to better optional tombs. (Too simple and too short.) Right now I'm debating on selling/trading my copy in... Something I just never do as I'm pretty much done with it... I just wonder if proper SP content is coming or not.
You know what they'll do in the sequel instead of admitting it was a failure they'll keep trying with the MP and the single player will suffer because of it.
I haven't played the MP yet I really don't want to. I heard it wasn't that great. CD should of just added Co-op instead. Oh well, Maybe in the next TR.
Not sure why anyone would think this would be DLC worth buying and/or paying to make exclusive in the case of MS. I'm guessing SE figured, and rightfully so, that a check from MS would be more profitable than what they would make form PS3/PC players as this game's MP is going to be dead, if not dead already, before that first wave of DLC hits.
That was fast.
We need single player dlc!!! I will be the first one to buy that. Multiplayer sucks
Completely agree. I fear single player dlc won't live up to the main campaign but I would take it over multiplayer maps as the MP in this game is very much throw away. Heck, just give us some single player tombs to explore with puzzles and a little bit of shooty bits and I willingly plunk down dollars for it. I also would have preferred them to do some kind of coop horde mode / group puzzle solving over their take on multiplayer.
For games like this, I'd expect SP dlc. Since some of the map is still not touched. Could easily do a few things with that.
