Unlike the Gamecube, the Wii U has exclusive rights to Monster Hunter and Dragon Quest.

It's silly to compare the two after 4 months on the market when the Wii U actually sold more than the PS3 and Xbox 360 in their first 3 months of sales.

Wii U will be fine. Wait till E3, then Nintendo will say, I told ya so.

Kinect did help 360 stay relevant this gen. If not for Kinect 360 would be left in the dust by now. Congrats to all consoles though. I'm ready for next gen now.

That subsidized plan for 99 dollars with a 2 year contract has helped as well. I know its only in the US, but it has to be working if more stores offer it and Microsoft hasn't gotten rid of it.

After all the bumps in the road during the PS3 launch. Not to mention higher price tag and coming out a year later then 360, it still managers to outsell the 360.

I guess you never owned a ps1 or ps2. Sony is had a whole generation head start on MS and not to mention dominance in the last two gens ( ps, ps2) so one year head start isnt much compared to two gens head start. Sony just really fked up bad and lost a lot of their market from the last two gens. MS simply kicked ass and dominate the most important and biggest gaming market on the planet (NA).

As good as those numbers worldwide look, sony is already the biggest loser this gen. Theyve been playing catch up and closing out factories laying people off just to stop the hemerging from this. MS is here to dominate and I cant wait to get my next xbox here on good ol NA.

Lack of exclusives, online isn't free, no revenue out of Japan AND no portable? Say what you want but Xbox STILL put up some big time numbers. On top of that, they did not have a huge selection of previous IP's to fall back on and rehash. IDGAF about the fanboy label that one you idiots will place on me. The bs RROD issue was a dead topic back in 2007-2008. Cut it out.

Microsoft got lucky Sony stumbled out of the gate with the PS3's cell processor. It will be a different story next gen when games like Mass Effect, aren't exclusives for years to come.

Plus, games like Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Tales of Vespeira, Star Ocean The Last Hope, all games that convinced me to buy a Xbox 360 early, aren't going to be their with the PS4.

The Wii U is going to be getting those games. Along with the PS4. No market in Japan is not a good thing.
