Is Telltale's FABLES Game Reusing The Walking Dead Character Models?

Telltale reached huge commercial and critical success with The Walking Dead game. As they move on to adapting another stellar comic franchise, Fables, you have to wonder, are they maybe taking to much inspiration from TWD? (Dev, PC, PS3, PS4, Telltale Games, The Walking Dead: Episode 1 "A New Day", Xbox 360, Xbox One)

I agree. It's smart to reuse your assets especially if they are already successfully tested. They can still tweak it a little if they wish. Cuts down on the overall development time.

Haha I remember when COD reused some buildings and everyone went nuts (not to mention engine, and just about everything in that game). But I guess that is ok now so we can cut down developement time.

You mean 'everyone' except me. I never had problems with any of that stuff. And why single out COD? Lots of games do it.

No. Reusing character models is retarded! If Im paying you money for a new game I want brand new character models, this is some Capcom Sh*t going on right here, where Capcom used pretty much all of the SF4 characters on SFxT. Its cutting corners and its stupid.

reusing assets is a normal thing. You don't criticise the film industry to recycle their props/cameras/backdrops/scenes /stock footage do you?

I'm pretty sure most people modify their models/textures all the time. Actually King of fighters has recycled their old stuff for years.
