The State of Wii U

A look at the Wii U's position in the system's fourth full month on the market. (Nintendo, Wii U)

it is what it is...
I think many are reading too much into this. The rule of thumb is, systems sell when there are titles that appeal to those who are in the market to buy.

This has been the norm since ... (insert system here).

Speaking only for myself, I like the wii-u. I look forward to adding more games from its catalog to my personal collection.

ps3 struggled, 3ds struggled, vita struggled, now everybody seems to forget that and pretend it never happened. Wii u is having a hard time, but the system is amazing, I own one myself and it is just a better machine overall. The things you can do with the wii u you just cant with ps3, xbox or even computer.

It is up to nintendo show the unique features to the customers and make them want to buy one. If they can do that, then, wii u will be ok.

so much competition

Ninty had to do what has to be done right timing or not,
they had to roll Wii U out ready or not. Wii ain't making any more. 3DS is doing below expectations. let Wii U be.

If being the best selling system on earth for a year running is below expectations, then I would hate to see what those expectations are.

"then I would hate to see what those expectations are."

"As for the 3DS handheld, Nintendo now expects to sell 15 million units during this fiscal year, compared to its previous estimate of 17.5 million."

... now that you've seen their lofty expectations, then you can hate all you want now.

unless you don't want to look at reality and the truth.
