Gears of War: Judgment Review | About

About: "Despite a new developer (People Can Fly (Bulletstorm)) taking the helm, and despite its undeniable 'side story' status, Gears of War: Judgment still packs the trademark great gameplay and robust feature set that the series is known for and is every bit as good as its predecessors. It makes a couple of basic, but long overdue changes to the core gameplay. It tweaks the campaign progression. And it adds a ton of new stuff to multiplayer. Gears of War: Judgment is just a really solid, really enjoyable game all around." (Gears of War Judgment, Xbox 360) 4.5/5

I always have fun with the series, but I don't find them worth purchasing right out of the gate.
They are rather standard, if fun, games and I don't feel that paying retail is worth it for me.

Will grab this one, much like Gears 3, once it drops to around fifteen or so.

I buy them primarily for the Coop, and since my friends are getting it at release i will too.

I regularly go hard in to the MP section so I like to get my grasp of the game before everyone else learns all the tricks of the game and starts dominating it.

Its a lot harder to get good at something when others that have mastered it are your competition.
