IGN - Game developers come and go but here are some studio swan songs worth celebrating.
38 Studios (Kingdoms of Amalur) should be on the list in my opinion.
I loved pandemic
i thought the saboteur was good, but i don't think they were all that great of a studio.
the saboteur could have been a lot better than it was quite frankly
"God Hand, which was also largely well-received, was a commercial fizzer too." It would be wise to mention that we should completely disregard your review of it, IGN. http://boards.fightingamphi... On topic: That is a good list, though.
Poor quality games anyway.
I think the developer of Halo War, Ensemble, did a great job with that game. They are, after all, made the great Age of Empire games.
Going back a bit, but my favorite defunct developer was Looking Glass Studios whose games today are still in many top rated lists: Thief 1 & 2 System Shock 1 & 2 Ultima Underworld 1 & 2
What about Factor 5
I...don't think Lair constitutes as "going out with a bang," at least in the way they mean it.
Well everything up to that point was pretty badass.
I would maim, kill and burn to see another game like God Hand made. And goddamnit the feels when I saw Vigil. Bloody disgrace that Darksiders 2 didn't sell too well, it was a better game than its predecessor in every way and that wasn't a slouch either.
