SimCity Source Code Reveals Force Shutdown line, Indefinite Offline Play Possible

GC: "Hey remember when EA said that SimCity cannot be playable offline and they would need to redesign the whole game for that?" (PC, SimCity)

WitWolfy  +   499d ago
I dunno... It seems legit.. But playing it offline feels like your getting a bootleg version of the game then, seeing the games' main feature is suppose to be sharing the same map with a friend and build your city and his side by side exchanging favors between one another.

Feels like the bootleg version?

You must not have played Sim City games before.

Sim City is a SINGLE player game.

Now if they wanted to OFFER multiplayer for a new experience, then great.

But NO it isn't the 'main feature' of the game. The main feature was supposed to be...."new singleplayer game of the well known and loved franchise....Sim City".

The thing is the LIES we've been fed, it works, it's one bloody line of code and EA/Maxis won't do what you can do in 2 seconds until they're ready!
