‘Watch Dogs’ puts you in the center of a nearly-real surveillance state

Digital Trends - Twice now, Watch Dogs has managed to steal a show.

The first time was during Ubisoft’s E3 2012 press conference. The French publisher wheeled out a few surprises, but nothing that really got people to stand up and take notice – right up until Watch Dogs appeared at the close of the show. The demo showed in-game footage of the series protagonist, Aiden Pearce, walking around a fully realized model of Chicago, interacting with just about everyone and everything thanks to his ability to hack nearly any electronic device in the technologically connected city. The scope was breathtaking, and the crowd was amazed at the possibilities of the original new game. Many immediately assumed it was a next-gen title. They were only half right. (PC, PS3, PS4, Watch Dogs, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

Come to England it's pretty much already like that here, lol.

Yup about 14 million cameras I believe. I heard the rich area have no cameras. There was a youtube video on that where people from England, were talking about the rich not being watched like the rest of the public. I wish I could found the video though. But I can show people this video. This game designer sounded like a truther... A truther that could make even Alex Jones proud.

The way how he spoke some truth, I thought some government assassin was going to pull an Assassin Creed kill on him. LOL!!!
