Lee Cieniawa reviews Sam & Max 203: Night of the Raving Dead for The Armchair Empire.
The Good:
- Yet again a smartly written and typically funny episode, with more simultaneous storylines happening at once than ever before
- Adds another locale to the ever-expanding Sam & Max world
The Bad:
- Some puzzles still are "clueless" endeavors that can get frustrating with the required amount of back-and-forth "what do I do next?" gameplay
Diehard GameFAN: Anyway, I did manage to finish off two games out of my backlog. The first was Marvel Super Hero Squad: Comic Combat and the other was Sam & Max Season 2: Beyond Time and Space. Technically that makes this six games as there are five episodes of Beyond Time & Space, but we’re going to cover the entire season as one game.
Telltale’s giving away $8.95 worth of point-and-click episodic fun
Steam has listed Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse for pre-order, offering a free copy of The Night of the Raving Dead to those who grab the upcoming title before its release.
