Battlefield 4, unveiled the cover of game

4News.it written:

Ready for a fight war in the near future?

The March 26, 2013, the date set by DICE for Battlefield 4 show the Game Developers Conference 2013 (GDC) in San Francisco, is approaching. Electronic Arts is not yet willing to release official information on the subject, while the insiders anticipate the debut churning in the network the first images. (Battlefield 4, Next-Gen, PC, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

This only looks kick ass, better than the previous fake one that was put out yesterday. Now lets see what improvements DICE has done.

I doubt that they've improved much. The cover style and art style look identical to Battlefield 3. There is also the fact that they are releasing Battlefield 4 so soon after Battlefield 3 (like what Ubisoft is doing to Assassin's Creed). I think that it's safe to say that this is just Battlefield 3.5, shitty single player and DLC heavy multiplayer sold separately.
krazykombatant  +   484d ago
Actually its been nearly to years come oct/dec, but yes most likely than not it will be minimal improvements
SnotyTheRocket  +   484d ago
Yeah, Battlefield has always released every two years or so. LAWYER'D!
Nimblest-Assassin  +   484d ago
So soon after B3?

That came out in 2011

Two years is the typical wait time for a sequel when multiple teams are not involved on one franchise
ShoryukenII  +   484d ago
I don't think that you guys understand. The mainline Battlefield series is not meant to be released every two years, just like the mainline Assassin's Creed games were not released yearly.

I believe that Battlefield 2 came out in 2004/2005. So, that is at least a six year wait. It is a little shocking and disheartening to see them release Battlefield 4 directly after Battlefield 3. What they should be doing is release another spin-off like Battlefield: Bad Company 3 (which is what I really wanted) or Battlefield 2143.

I feel like they are killing the name and devaluing the mainline series as a whole. They're also digging themselves in a whole. They're that much closer to Battlefield 9 now. This is not Final Fantasy. It just won't work here.

Am I the only one thinking that EA is already rushing the Battlefield series? Why does EA kill everything they touch??? Now they're milking Battlefield as well??

By the way, it's about time they bring back the bad company series! I miss sweetwater and his stupid gang.

You shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

So what if it looks similar, maybe the same guys drew it.

The cover teases jets in the image under the "battlefield" part. Its safe to say that we will see more jet in battlefield 4 than battlefield 3.

game looks good always but i just dont like vehicles in shooters, its a turn off to me. so i never get it
FarCryLover182  +   484d ago
There are plenty of modes without vehicles if that's what you prefer. You can play team deathmatch and you can go into "infantry" lobbies that include no vehicles.
Britainz-Fin3st  +   483d ago
I have a friend who says the same thing Muffins..
I like having vehicles in the game, i enjoy causing havoc in a tank or firing down from the apache.

Although i see where your coming from, when someone is "pro" they can be extremely hard to kill

You totally replied to the wrong guy.

What about next gen?
unchartedxplorer  +   484d ago
I hope they have a proper BF campaign where it is a destructible sandbox with a lot more vehicles with a proper story.
As for the multiplayer I'd really like Battlerecorder with 64 players along with some more modes. I like modes like conquest and rush but I want more variety.
spaceg0st  +   483d ago
agreed. THey don't need to fix much..

1.graphic improvement (given)
2.Bigger player count (given)
3.more modes... personally i'd love a bomb planting mode. CS style

Love Battlefield Hate Ea - micro transactions are going to be all over this.
SnotyTheRocket  +   484d ago
f they do microtransations like they did in BF3 (they are there), then i'll be fine with it. If it's like Dead Space 3......
stage88  +   484d ago
Very generic cover but its the game that's important.

EA, don't **** this up with microtransactions or its a definite no buy.
alexmac  +   484d ago
This is completely fake. Notice this is only for current gen platforms...if this was a real leak, wouldn't we see the next-gen console covers? This is easily faked from the leaks we've had so far.
Red_Eye  +   484d ago
I don't think we would, because we haven't the design of how cover art and the disc boxes etc would look for PS4. Once Sony unveils such designs I don't think companies will release any. I agree that this is completely fake though.
