I'm totally like that (huge collector). This title is definitely grabbing my attention.

Lots of studs I see. That's not unusual lol.

Anyway the world seems pretty expansive. Makes me wonder how this apparently came out with so much content and how other devs leave the player with a four to twelve hour story mode.

You will be hard pressed to find a short open world game. The genre lends itself to long games in design. See: Saints Row, LEGO GTA, any Grand Theft Auto, any Red Dead Redemption, Just Cause 2, etc. Heck, even Batman: Arkham City has a quite respectable length, and it's a "short" game as far as sandbox games go.

It doesn't make sense to compare any sandbox game with, say, the vast majority of first person shooters -- a gaming genre that, nowadays, is much more focused on online play than singleplayer. Basically, you're wasting your money if you buy a Call of Duty or a Battlefield just for the singleplayer. However, if you buy it for the online play, then you can get hundreds of hours out of it.
