Post Arcade: "Lego City Undercover was made for Lego nerds.

Developer TT Fusion has eschewed Star Wars, Batman, Harry Potter, and all the other pop culture licenses that helped turn it into one of the most successful game franchises of the last decade and has instead delivered a game focused squarely on the 64-year-old toy at the heart of it all.

This time, plastic bricks are the stars of the show.

Kids and adults who have grown up with, and have special spots in their hearts for the Danish-designed interlocking hexahedrons will find it a little slice of building block heaven." (Lego: City Undercover, Wii U) 8.5/10
