Why do non of these interviews actually start pushing the questions they probably don't want to hear. Like how the always online thing is crap and it's ruined SimCity....or how they should make it offline.

Demanding your players to 'always be online' in order to play a Single-Player game is DUMB.

And yes, many of the players just want to play a city-builder on their own, offline.

Reason: This is a PR stunt.
If CVG (ugh) would do these questions, the developers won't ever agree on doing the "interview". Therefore, they wouldn't ask the questions anyway.
Basically, it is logically impossible to ask these questions then, at least when we are talking about PURE MARKETING instead of a proper interview.

If this tells us anything its that MS supposed design model of ''constantly online console'' and online 24/7 to play in general does not work and brings to much problems.

Because saying "the always online thing is crap" is not a question. I don't think they would agree to a sit down with a publication that intended to call them out.

They already know that a very...VERY large portion of gamers are pissed off. But they are also probably aware that given enough time and enough empty apologies, people are willing to accept even the most tyrannical bullshit these companies are willing to shovel at us.

Well they are giving people a free origin game.

So basically they won't give you your money back if the product is broken, but they will give you store credit that you can only use at the place which just shafted you.

That's just as good though right?
