Announced back in August with a soaking wet trailer, we now get another glimpse of Studio Japan’s new PS3 title Rain in these new screenshots.
Although we constantly hear talk of the AAA titles coming out this year, this game has me very interested. I love the art style and, although the concept appears simple, I can imagine all kinds of gameplay possibilities. I can't quite put my finger on why but it has an ICO vibe (at least for me). This and Puppeteer will probably be my last two PS3 purchases before I fully commit to the PS4. PS+ will keep me busy on the PS3 for years to come anyway. And hopefully, one subscription fee will give you PS3, Vita AND PS4 content. Hope you all enjoy next gen regardless of which console you choose.
Yeah the prospects of having one subscription for 3 consoles is huge. Also love the feel of this game, the animations looked like they needed work from looking at the trailer, but these kinds of games are just what gamers want, something new and fresh.
I am with you there both those games look like that are going to be really good.
i want to see this on PS4
very interesting game!
One more good reason to state that games are becoming art
I cannot wait for this game!!! I want it now!!!
Very interesting game.
This title looks absolutely beautiful. This and Puppeteer were the only ones at E3 (or wherever they were shown off) that interested me, Japan Studio so dependable.
Im just glad Sony is finally putting more faith into Japan Studio. Their titles are all unique and fun :D One of my fav gaming studios this gen.
If the trailer didn't have Clair De Lune playing over it, it wouldn't have nearly as much of an effect. Seems like a cheap move to me. Compose your own music for it. It's like they're saying "if we play Clair de Lune over it people will think it's profound!!" I hope it has an original soundtrack that's good, then I'll excuse it.
looking forward to this
