Lego City Undercover Review | EuroGamer

EuroGamer: "It may not have a big-name sci-fi or fantasy licence to hang its hat on, then, but it turns out Traveller's Tales has itself been working undercover for a while on that front, lurking behind the smokescreens of Gotham City and the galaxy far away as it evolved into an accomplished developer capable of charming players with a mixture of great writing, twinkling level design and laudable values that keep you coming back regardless. Lego City Undercover isn't ceaselessly brilliant - open-world games seldom are - but it's a fantastic example of what makes Traveller's Tales and TT Fusion such special developers, and the worst I can say is that it's occasionally only fun. And you know what? I'll take that wherever I can find it." (Lego: City Undercover, Wii U) 9/10

The reviews are going to be all over the place for this game.

This is one game on the Wii U that always had me interested.

Edge are weird reviewers i think ive seen about three 7/10 and the rest have been over 8.5 even a few 9.0 and a 10/10 from one reviewer all points to this game getting avove average/excellent reviews from everyone except that Nintendo hater from Edge that reviewed the game he must have a vendetta against Ninty for a review that stands out like a sore thumb and makes them look amateur.

I'll wait for it to hit the $20 price point... but still plan on checking it out. Good to see a high score here.
LOL_WUT  +   587d ago
Well, thats too bad, by the looks of some previews/trailers of the game I think it justifies its asking price. ;) That $20 price point should be placed on the games that are currently on the Wii U.

Well, I don't have any extra cash to pick up anything right now, so I stand by my decision.

So far I have seen about 4 to 5 reviews and edge is the only bad one. Hmnnnnnnn
GamerEuphoria  +   587d ago
Edge only seem to like Japanese or niche games (with the rare exception) so... take the reviews with a hint of salty goodness
Realplaya  +   587d ago
You have a great point.
Toman85  +   587d ago
Niche games or not. They always give X360 exclusives higher score all the time, even if the game is just the same as always :)

Looking forward to play some Lego City Undercover when it arrives 28th March in Europe!

Still want to try this game out. Looks really good and fun.

sad GAMERS today only buy games if the reviews are good.
No wonder franchises dies over the course new generations.
Because gamers are stupid enough to take 20 people opinions rather than try themselves.
