Defiance Beta on PS3 Starts March 19th, Pre-Order the Game For a Guaranteed Invite

Trion Worlds said we “are totally getting one” and they weren’t lying. A Defiance beta on PlayStation 3 is starting up on March 19th at 8AM PST and will end on March 25th at 9PM PST. Even though this is the first time a beta has appeared on the PS3 for Defiance, this is actually the third and final beta phase for the title, which is out in just a few weeks on April 2nd.

Don't fall for the pre-order trap: it doesn't come with refunds...

So what you're saying is... it's a trap?

Well, I wouldn't want any...Imperial entanglements...

You could always transfer the money to another game.

I was really excited at first, but the more and more I saw of it, it looked more generic. Plus, I'm worried the community will be too small, and that there will be too much lag.

So many variables on my end that I can't risk pre-ordering it. I'll wait and see.

There were like a hundred people in my area and you can play competitive and co op multiplayer on the fly. I was glued for about 3 hours

Really? Ehh I am still looking forward to this. Loved the last game Trion made!

Openly optimistic. I really hope this is successful.

Yeah same here. I've been interested in this since last summer.

Me too, I'm actually really excited for this game.

PS+ Subscribers should get an invite first.

This isn't a Sony owned game so I'm sure they don't have much to say about it, and it's not high profile enough for them to go out of their way to make a deal. Anyway, PS+ members get in most betas sooner than everyone else so they'll get over it.

Sounds
kinds like Destiny. honestly, I didn't even know about this game until today. This is where shooters whould be going in this next gen. not that a single player doesn't give us some great action and stories sometimes, but this coud help break up the monotony.

And signed up! Looking forward to the beta, but I'm not willing to preorder for a code. The point of the beta is to see if I wanna buy the game.

I'm contemplating on preordering that game stop one. I always love collectors edition's that have something you can actually use, especially messenger bags! Also comes with a season pass and a making of DVD plus a physical soundtrack. One of the better collector editions I've seen a while. Just don't wanna buy it if I don't like it. Mahhh hard decisions! ^.^
