MLG CEO Sundance DiGiovanni Talks Dallas Winter Championship And Heart Of The Swarm

Major League Gaming (MLG) will offer $170,000 in prizes to the best pro gamers in the world at the MLG Winter Championship in Dallas from March 15-17. MLG is celebrating its 10th year in eSports with the beginning of its new Pro Circuit season. The competition will unfold live at the Dallas Convention Center and will be live streamed around the globe.

With Blizzard Entertainment’s launch of StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm and the eSports features that Activision and Treyarch built into Call of Duty: Black Ops II, there will be new drama unfolding in pro gaming this year.

Sundance DiGiovanni, co-founder and CEO of MLG, talks about the growing eSports landscape, the rise of free-to-play games and the impact new games will have in the space in this exclusive interview.
