Tomb Raider Review - The Geek Link

The Geek Link writes - It’s been a long time since Lara Croft has been relevant in the gaming community. For a time, Tomb Raider was the hottest (figuratively and literally) franchise out there. She had 2 movies done about her, and even rumors of a Playboy shoot. In time however, her 15 minutes seemed to be up. It’s arguable why this happened, but interest started to die out. So a decision was made to give Tomb Raider a reboot and to finally tell the origin story of Lara Croft. Lara was always a badass, but how did she get there? With a lot of room for error, was Crystal Dynamics able to pull off this dramatic re-imagining? The answer is a very emphatic yes. (PC, PS3, Tomb Raider, Xbox 360) 4.8/5
