This was one of the easiest puzzles in the game. The one that gave me some issues were the wind ones.

This game did not have a single complicated puzzle. The easiest puzzles I've ever seen can be found in this game.

I loved this game don't get me wrong. It is a great adventure but it has nothing on the original Tomb Raider games as far as puzzles are concerned. And to think how far technology has progressed and yet those old games from the late 90's have better puzzles than this game....

I just give you guys one example: TR1 - St. Francis' Folly

SPOILER
The one with the bell in the monastery in the part of the game where you first start fighting the Oni. That took me a while to figure out how to get out of that room

I have to agree with you about the puzzle difficulty. Don't get me wrong I really loved the game but the puzzles don't touch the complexity and feeling of accomplishment found in the first Tomb Raider.

Nevertheless I still love the reboot.

Ares84HU.

Hard but happy memories.

Loved those old TR'S.

But even though in previous comments I moaned about this new game, I actually enjoyed it more then I thought I would and stated, better later in the game.

This was one of the easiest puzzles.

There are some pretty fun puzzles which are not designed to be overly difficult but to be there and fun to solve.

Loving the game. Even more so then other TPS action games on the market at the moment.

Yeah.....I war with myself about the puzzles.
I really enjoyed the tombs. The puzzles are all easy. But there still incredibly fun.

Previous tomb raiders had some puzzles that were not just difficult to the point of frustration....they also made little sense. I mean....are ancient engineers really this good? An I to believe that rope puzzles from Mayan temples wouldn't just fall apart?

I think I prefer fun and a sense of realism over difficulty. (I'm not saying the games realistic....she must have titanium bones!) lol

I think what a lot of people fail to realize when comparing this one to the old ones is that in the old one she was a veteran acheologist already. In this new one she is just learning the ropes as they say, so this "taste" in puzzle solving is laying the foundation for how good she becomes in them later on...

Personally, i don't like games that have puzzles that take me hours to solve or complete because it stops the game from being fun to the point i know longer want to play anymore (i.e. Portal).

You look up and the first thing normal people would notice is the ladders and the rope. That's the whole puzzle.

TR's puzzles are awful but the game is fantastic.
