Should God of War Follow in the Footsteps of Assassin's Creed?

"God of War: Ascension certainly refines the franchise’s existing formula, and it’s a great game for that reason – but for the series to truly recapture its former glory, it needs to do something new. " I don't agree with the assassins creed route, but I agree with this quote

Yeah, like maybe expand above the single player focus of the franchise and add some new, original multiplayer component...

SSM should just wait like 3-4 years after the PS4's release, when they get familiar with the tech. Release GOWIV.

They are working on a new IP so that's probably what they're doing.
