Gametap: Wild Earth: African Safari Preview

When a game starts out by asking you to find and photograph an elephant dung heap, you know you aren't in Kansas anymore. In fact, Dorothy, you'd be in the Serengeti National Park in Kenya, Africa, courtesy of Wild Earth: African Safari.

African Safari is a family-friendly first-person shooter--not to be confused with Cabela's African Safari, which encouraged you to hunt and kill animals. This is a creature-loving adventure that casts you as a photojournalist who's on assignment to take pictures of the fauna and flora of the Serengeti for a nature journal. It's based on PC game Safari Photo Africa: Wild Earth by Super X Studios and published by Ubisoft in 2006; Super X also did the work on the Wii game with Majesco as publisher.
