wired.co.uk: EA is 'looking into' offline SimCity

Following universal condemnation of SimCity's "always-online" DRM, its publisher EA has said it's "looking into" an offline mode.

SimCity executive producer Lucy Bradshaw took to the official SimCity Twitter account to apologise to customers and say: "We have no intention of offlining SimCity any time soon but we'll look into that as part of our earning back your trust efforts." (Culture, DRM, EA, PC, SimCity)

LOOKING INTO

Why didn't it launch this way? EA is finally learning the hard way that customers will only take so much exploitation.

I honestly dont feel EA has learned anything. It would take people not buying the game or games and EA losing a lot of money for them to change their ways.
