Zelda Fans Old and New Deserve Hyrule in HD

GenGAME writes: "With the Wii U, Nintendo has finally entered the realm of HD gaming. For the first time ever, we’ll get to see favorite characters like Mario and Link in high definition, but perhaps even more important is the fact that we’ll get to see entire Nintendo worlds in much greater detail than before.

"The land of Hyrule from the Legend of Zelda franchise is among the most well-known and beloved locales in all of video games, but many feel that the long-tenured series has seen too much of Hyrule. Nintendo may be tempted to start fresh on the Wii U with a new land, but there are several significant reasons why Link’s first HD adventure should be in familiar territory." I really do hope Nintendo gives Hyrule the HD treatment, but I hope it doesn't come at the cost of really adding to the Hyrule universe. Even Skyward Sword, which touched on an entirely unseen era of the land's history, wasn't really all that ambitious: we've already seen the forest, volcano, and desert, and adding some differently-themed ruins wasn't really good enough.

I want to see the peoples of Hyrule I've come to know and love fleshed out even more, and the places given more depth. Every single corner of the world can have a unique name and a unique story, even if it's not necessarily told in detail. That's the Hyrule I want to see, and the Hyrule I think the hardware is finally able to show.

I an enthused by the changes coming to Zelda-
Out of synq dungeon Exploration.
Weapons not as keys (like Metroid).

But I would also like to see "Majora's Mask"'s complex character routes return.
It would be great to have wandering characters that move around like real people according to their needs.

It would be nice if they could be anywhere but if you could also predict where they are according to what you know about them.

I agree with the above comment. Each Zelda has different characters, in a way, but I would also like to see more about the Hero and the Zelda/Goddess.
More importantly I would like to learn more about the over arcing story and timelines of Zelda.

CRISIS: Multiple Time Lines, must happen.
