UGO: Super Smash Bros. Brawl review

There are few games that can illicit a cheer from a crowd of onlookers like Smash Bros. It's something about the insanity of it all, bombs dropping here, flames bursting there, turnips being thrown with reckless abandon. Even if you're on the sidelines, you can help but watch, entranced. For fans of Smash Bros., it has been over six long years of waiting for the latest installment, but the fact that the GameCube version is still played with great regularity is a testament to how good it was and still is. Finally, though, Smash Bros. fanatics have something new to cheer about, and while Super Smash Bros Brawl on the Wii doesn't reinvent the franchise in any major way, it should please both veterans and newcomers who are looking to see Donkey Kong punch Kirby in his big, round face.
