In Defence of EA and Why They're Not the Gaming Devil

Jayden Williams at Aussie-Gamer.com writes: "From its “controversial” use of micro-trancscations to last week’s SimCity launch debacle, long-time publisher EA Games has felt the full brunt of gamers’ rage recently.

Only, I fail to see why the gaming community have been quick to label EA as the ‘gaming devil’ – the be all and end all source to all that’s wrong in our society.

While the internet grants millions of people the ability to voice their concerns and discontent with a product or service direct to the company responsible, I think it’s getting just a little too ridiculous. Almost to the point where we’re all being a little too self-entitled and, well… childish."
