Weekly CryEngine 3 Gallery [March 3rd - 9th]; Bioshock & Halo In CryEngine 3

DSOGaming writes: "Today we bring you new shots from 3D artists and CryEngine 3 modders Glode, scotthomer, Rens, chicken, QuadReaktor, ReVan1199, EliteGhost and i59. The highlight of this week is undoubtedly scotthomer’s finished Bioshock environment, as well as Rens’ finished environment based on Bungie’s Halo." (BioShock, Cryengine 3, Halo, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Isn't this way old? I remember seeing these screens of Bioshock and possibly the Halo ones too months ago.

Anyway... They can make fancy graphics all day long with Cryengine 3, but the day they release and intuitive and genuinely fun game running on it i could care less.

Crytek should just stick to the tech side of things and let more creative teams do the gameplay work.

they were WIP back then. These are the finished versions that will be featured in the upcoming Vertex magazine (for example, the Halo shot now features reflections)

If halo uses CE3 that would be ORGASMIC!
