"Back in 1996 Naughtydog debuted their first game for Sony Computer Entertainment, Crash Bandicoot. A series seemingly specifically designed to take on competing console manufacturers Sega and Nintendo, and their rival platform gaming franchises. Crash received high praise from critics and quickly became one of the bestselling titles available on the Playstation, with journalists often drawing positive comparisons to Sonic and Mario titles.

Crash quickly and successfully became to the Playstation brand and console, what Super Mario is to Nintendo’s systems. Wish they had the rights to Crash again...not just because they would make new Crash games but they could do a HD release with an online mode for Crash team Racing.

Yeah it would be fantastic. It's a huge shame they built up these fantastic IPs (both Spyro and Crash) and then lost them.

It's probably the biggest travesty in the industry, I'd say. Considering what activision did to these series. I mean they were both multi-million dollar franchises before Activision started their work...

I've been saying this for years too! Honestly CTR plus an online mode... I would literally never ever stop playing it. Can't count how many hours I put into that game alone and with friends. It's just one of those games that never gets boring.

Oh hell yeah. There is this trick I love to do. When someone shoots a missile at me I pull in front another character and hit the brakes and use them as a meat shield. I would love to try that tactic online.

best kart racer of all time. mario kart may have done it first, but CTR did it better

I remember getting this game on my birthday the year it came out. Hours were wasted away in this game. Ah the memories

I would sell every game for my PS3 and 360 just for a HD re-release with online and the same controls. Nitro Kart was like controlling a bus.
