DSOGaming writes: "Before starting this article, let me tell you that we’ve seen such behaviors in the past on various boards. However, it’s really funny when a developer – that does not reveal his or her true identity – tries to damage control with an anonymous account on either a gaming website or a gaming board/forum. NeoGAF’s member ‘GlassBox’ attempted such a thing and got banned for trying to ‘distort the news aggregate‘ all without actually disclosing to anyone there that he or she works for the ‘company in question.’"
"You know the kind of game publisher that does bad things and wonders why their sales suck? Well, that was me. Every time something good happened, something bad was always waiting around the corner. Karma. That's when I realized, my DRM policy had to change. So I made a list of every game with bad DRM I had ever made and 1 by 1, I'm going to patch out all of my mistakes. I'm just trying to be a better games company.
My Name is EArl. "
At the time everybody saw that they said EA employee alert , so yeah theyre probably reading this now
Gaf is probably full of them.
Sony stuff on the other hand...
"It saddens me that I can't even say I like a game by EA without being considered a paid shill."
Unfortunately lots of "gamers" watch the world in black and white.Either something is the best thing ever or complete shit mentality.
And ask yourself, why is paidforumposting.com advertising on NeoGAF?
Anyone who still uses and trusts old fashioned message boards to get their news is a chump and a sucker. Selective quoting, banned sites? No thanks.
BTW, I'm not defending this guy, just stating the obvious. Remember when certain NeoGAF "insiders" claimed there were "problems" with the Xbox 360 version of GTA IV? They even posted doctored gifs to reinforce their lie.
What about that portable gamecube they claimed would replace the Nintendo DS? How about that Wii HD? And what about two years of censored NPD numbers? Daily Nintendo is doomed threads, etc, etc, etc
And yet old fashioned messaged boards are still more reliable than the "media" and "gaming journalists".
