Local PS3 game replication and what it means for Indian gamers

IVG writes: "A few days ago, the nice people at MCV had a word with Atindriya Bose, Master Chief of all things Playstation in India. He mentioned that Sony could start locally replicating PS3 games within the country as early as this month. While it might not seem like much, here are some possible implications of this move and how it could affect your game purchases." (PS3, Sony)

India could be a huge market. What do Indians love more than anything? The answer is cricket. Sony could pick-up the cricket license for dirt-cheap. With the right marketing Playstation devices could be selling bucketloads in India.
