Crysis 3 Review | Nerdluster

Nerdluster: If you're a fan of the Crysis series like myself then this may be the best way for you to wrap up the loose ends of the greater story. The threads of Prophet, Psycho and all of Raptor Team are finally put to rest while the greater quandary of the Ceph is just plain blown to smithereens, better leave some questions unanswered...you know, shoot first. This is obviously the most pretty of the 4 individual titles all of which have been running on CryEngine 3 for the Xbox 360.

On the PC ever since they traded up from CryEngine 2 to 3 you can really turn up the graphics details to a point that would grind any modest machine to a screeching halt. For the story of Crysis 3 this is a testament to the raw detail that Crytek embedded in their latest game. Short answer: buy this game if you already enjoy Crysis' story and want to finish this episode. Pass on this if you're new to the series, too much is left unexplained for the newcomer and there are plenty of better multiplayer experiences for a better price point. (Crysis 3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 80/100
